Magic Never Ends: Iran of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Magic Never Ends is an eerily playful installation of childlike drawings and toys that create a landscape of war zone reality and reflect on the brutality of armed conflicts around the world.

"Trough various forms, drawings, installations and video, I question myself
about cultural identity- the direct encounter with cultural differences that
offers another point of view on others as well as myself.

Day after day, I take note of the sentences, the information and the events
that i experience as well as my own reactions.These being reflextion of my
life of wandering in foreign lands, of my belonging to the Iranian diasporama
and thus of my own exile.

Along the way, i consign the most ordinary examples of the consumer society
that give life to my story and of my integration facing repetitive problems.

My youth–essential to my artistic endeavour-is always present through all the
consigned objects artifacts or colourful toys.This is a world without any
censorship a world powerful enough to create and build new forms.

The story of a forgotten way of writing that everybody knows without ever
having erased it from memory."
