Palanquin Park explores home as a portable or mobile object, the Canadian North and the blending of histories. Montcombroux constructs environments and objects that are out of sync with an apparent or expected function. In the broadest sense the exhibition is about the mutual coexistence of the possible and the improbable.
Bruce Montocmbroux is a practicing artist currently living and working in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he graduated with an MFA from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007 and now teaches sculpture and extended media with the Department of Art and Art history.
